I would love to see the entrance and exit holes it make on a deer.

Yes they are. Both regular and lighted TwisterNock are very reliable. Most problem is the arrows slapping each other when hitting the target. We had a few problem at the beginning, then we realized some of the rests was not clearing or they were bouncing and hitting the nock. with regular nock it may not cause a problem and you may never notice it, but with TwisterNock, because it is spinning so fast it will trough it of. After adjusting the tension and the clearance on the rest it is all good now.
